The Grand Place is a partially car-free zone: passage through it is prohibited between 11.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.
By public transport
Lier is easily accessible by public transport.
In the centre there are several bus stops of De Lijn. The station is a 10-15 minute walk from the Grand Place.

By bike
Cyclists can reach Lier quickly and easily. This is via the network of junctions and the cycle highway. There are connections to the city from different directions, for example:
